I love the material, and sleeve length, but the crop is way too short. Why wear a fleece that covers half my torso?

I love the pattern on this fleece and it is pretty thick and weighty, more than I thought it would be. I am super short waisted so even though it is supposed to be a little cropped, it's actually basically full length on me which is great. This is my first purchase and I am happy with it.
