The Emerald Society Pipes & Drums band, composed of NYC firefighters, celebrates St. Patrick's Day and Irish heritage since 1962. Known for honoring fallen heroes and participating in city events, they're a symbol of tradition and respect. This year, their collaboration on a "Pipes and Drums" polo supports their mission, as they make a notable return to Fifth Avenue's St. Patrick's Day parade, continuing their legacy of community and honor.

Last year, we moved into a new office here in Charlottesville, Virginia. Before some of our furniture arrived, we constructed a makeshift pickleball court between the desks. It quickly caught on and we soon began looking to upgrade our paddles.

In 2016, we launched Rhoback with men’s performance polos and t-shirts. As we grew, so did our product lines and designs – releasing performance q-zips and vests, followed by performance hoodies, joggers, and shorts. One thing remained consistent: our early products mostly spoke to men.

With The C'Ville Performance Polo we aimed to create a pattern that pays tribute to our home in Charlottesville, VA, placing an emphasis on the aspects of the local culture that make the city iconic and beloved. From scenic mountaintops and a lively music scene, to sports, breweries, and wineries, Charlottesville has a unique charm and quality of life that we are proud to be a small part of. The print design also features one of our favorite historic attractions in town – The Paramount Theater – who we are proud to partner with on this performance polo.

Last month, like many other Americans, we tuned in to watch the Presidential Inauguration. We watched as our current and former representatives and leaders joined the inauguration stage – all were sporting the new norm – face masks. But one former president, to our complete surprise, was rocking a familiar mask – the same mask that many of us showed up to work wearing that very day.
